Adam Shoalts is a professional explorer and national best-selling author. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society for “extraordinary contributions to geography”. A geographer and historian, he holds a Ph.D. from McMaster University, has participated in numerous archaeological digs and undertakes solo explorations in the most remote wilderness areas. In 2016, Adam was named a national champion of the Trans-Canada Trail.
Declared one of the “greatest living explorers” by Canadian Geographic, his career has included mapping rivers, leading expeditions, archaeological digs, and tracking endangered species.
He is the author of four national best-selling books.

We will have an amazing array of raffle prizes on offer. You won’t want to miss out! Raffle ticket purchases will be by CASH ONLY, so do drop by your ATM prior to the banquet! All proceeds support the banquet and the work of the club.
Books by our guest speaker, Adam Shoalts, will be available for purchase at the banquet by cash or credit card only (VISA, Mastercard or AMEX). Adam will be available following his presentation for book signings. Copies of his first four books will be available in paperback only while his latest book, Where the Falcon Flies, will be available in hardcover only.
There will be a cash bar available at the event. Payment can be made by cash or, for purchases of $5 or more, by debit or credit card.
The event begins with an informal social hour at 5:30 (during which raffle tickets can be purchased) with the formal program beginning with dinner at 6:30 p.m.
