Life Along the Thames River @ Kains Woods (Members Only)

Kains Woods is home to many year-round residents, including birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and more. On this hike, we will explore those that thrive in this woodlot along the Thames River. There are uneven surfaces on this trail. Trekking poles and good hiking boots are suggested.
Park on the street on Westdel Bourne, south of Kains Road. Meet at the entrance to the trail.
This will cover the same areas as Kathleen’s hike on August 18. Unlike that hike, we will focus on those animals that remain active during the changing seasons.
