MEMBERS ONLY – REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Explore a range of habitats as we walk west from Meadowlily Nature Reserve, under Highbury Avenue, to the prairie plantings under the hydro corridor that parallels Highbury. We’ll identify plants (many prairie plants will be in bloom) and look for butterflies and birds. We’ll also walk west along the Thames River on a foot trail through a nice Hackberry woods. The vegetation is tall in the prairie, so long pants are recommended.
From Commissioners Road East, drive north on Meadowlily Road (just east of Highbury). Park at the end of the road, on the right (east) side of the road. Meet at the entrance to Meadowlily Nature Reserve (a TTLT property) on the west side of the road just before the Thames River.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU ARE UNWELL
