(Members Only) Hike Coldstream CA, east section

NATURE LONDON MEMBERS ONLY.
  • You are expected to be fully vaccinated.
  • Participants are asked to complete and pass the Government of Ontario Covid-19 self-assessment at home (https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/) no more than 24 hours before the start of an event. If you are unable to do this, please advise the event leader and refrain from attending the event.
  • You must pre-register.
  • Bring a mask and hand sanitizer.
Hike a new well maintained trail along fields, a small evergreen plantation, past an old mill pond and then through an old growth deciduous forest. This area is an old section of the CA and has been rehabilitated due to the heavy illegal atv use. We will be looking for spring flowers and early migrants. Dress for the weather and wear proper footwear. Directions: Take Egermont Road west (Fanshawe Road) to Coldstream Road, turn right (north) to Ilderton Road, cross Ilderton road, past Quaker Road .4 kms to the parking lot on the right, just before the hydro station at 24506 Coldstream Road. Additional Comments: Due to the time of year, the trails may be wet or muddy so wear proper footwear and dress for the weather. You may want to car pool with trusted companions. PLEASE NOTE: ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. REGISTRATIONS ARE CUT OFF 24 HOURS BEFORE THE START TIME OF THE EVENT.
