MEMBERS ONLY – REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Nature journaling is a creative way to develop skilled observations, curiosity, and gratitude for nature. We will do this by focusing on the environment, natural objects, and wildflowers present. Instead of using a camera or a phone to capture memories, we will put them directly on paper with note-taking and sketching. You don’t need to be an artist to try or enjoy nature journaling. It’s for all ages.
Please bring your nature journal, a notebook or a sketchbook (hardcover or spiral bound may be easier to use), and a drawing pencil. Participants can bring supplies, such as coloured pencils or markers if they want more detailed journal entries. Also, a lightweight camping chair if wanting to sit. There are a few benches available to sit quietly and observe the surroundings.
It’s weather dependent and the rain date is Sunday, May 26th at 10 a.m.
See page 13 of the Spring 2024 Cardinal for address and directions.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU ARE UNWELL
