SPRING 2021

Posted May 28, 2021

London is in the process of choosing a bird species to become the avian symbol for our city. The Chimney Swift is one of the eight candidates. Check out the campaign poster to find out why the Chimney Swift would make an excellent official bird for London. You can vote directly at https://www.birdfriendlylondon.ca/citybirdpoll. We encourage everyone to vote for their favorite bird. Voting will continue until mid-June 2021, and possibly later.

Check out our new history webpages. Included are Selected Highlights (a leisurely look at the past century and a half), 150 Years in 15 Pictures (for those in a hurry), and an In-Depth History (a detailed compilation of well-illustrated articles).
