Trip Highlights: Long Point Basin Bus Trip, 30 September 2018

Nature London members view a restoration site. The meadow is only three years old and already it is full of wildflowers as far as the eye can see.

On 30 September 2018 almost four dozen Nature London members hit the road well before sunrise to enjoy an all-day tour of the Long Point Basin. Stops included Backus Woods, lunch at the historic community hall in Walsingham, multiple ecological restoration sites of different ages, and Long Point Basin Land Trust’s magnificent Jackson-Gunn old growth forest property.
