Nature London’s Awards Committee is calling for nominations of prospective recipients of awards to be given out in 2025. NL members in good standing are eligible to submit nominations on the official Awards Nomination form. There are online and printable versions of the form. The website also contains information about the W.E. Saunders Award of Merit, Special Recognition Award, Conservation Award and Thank-You (Suncatcher) Award. The deadline for submission of nominations is August 15th. Please submit Conservation Award nominations by email to Sandy Levin at s.levin@bell.net. Submit nominations for the other awards to Anita Caveney (anita.caveney@gmail.com).”

Last Chance to Find Missing Bird Species for the Third Breeding Bird Atlas
Pete Read is looking for birders to find and report “missing” species in some squares for the third atlas. These species were reported in the second atlas in those squares. To contribute to this activity, please email Pete. You will need to register for the atlas at birdsontario.org and download the NatureCounts app to your mobile phone.
