Clandeboye – Hodgins Trail

REGISTRATION REQUIRED – MEMBERS ONLY

Hike through a private property opened up to the public. Evergreen trail to open field trail to mixed forest. Looking for late departing birds or those just arriving in the area, as well as other creatures.

Directions: Richmond (Hwy 4) north through Lucan to just past the curve at Clandeboye right hand side (east) 34508 Richmond. There is a sign board just before the entrance. If you get to the greenhouse on the left side, turn around as you have gone a bit too far.

Additional Comments: Dress to be comfortable for the weather and conditions. Fairly easy trail, might be muddy, in locations. Grass in 2 of 3 sections of trail, dirt/wood chips in mixed forest. If time permits, or your willing, can also hike Lucan Conservation Area few minutes away, 1/2 hour trail, but hilly, muddy depending on rain amount.
